Location Data
- Collection Purpose: Jayd may access your device's location (GPS coordinates) solely to determine your geographical area for providing location-relevant content.
- Processing: Your coordinates are sent to third-party mapping services to retrieve an area code corresponding to your location.
- Storage: Only the area code is stored locally on your device. Your actual GPS coordinates are never stored by Jayd and are discarded immediately after processing.
- Optional Access: Location access is entirely optional and user-controlled.
What We Don't Collect
Jayd does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal identifying information (name, email, phone number)
- Device identifiers or hardware information
- App usage analytics or behavioral data
- Photos, media, or files from your device
- Any other personal data
2. How We Use Your Information
- Location Processing: GPS coordinates are transmitted to third-party APIs exclusively to retrieve location-based area codes.
- Local Storage: Retrieved area codes are stored locally on your device to provide relevant content and notifications.
- Data Retention: Coordinates are immediately discarded after processing and are never retained by Jayd.
3. Location Options
- Automatic Detection: Grant location permission to automatically determine your area.
- Manual Selection: Choose your location manually within the app interface.
Both options are available regardless of location permission settings.

- No Account Data: Jayd does not maintain user accounts or profiles.
- Local Control: All app data is stored locally on your device under your control.
- Complete Removal: Uninstalling Jayd removes all associated data from your device.
- Permission Management: You can revoke location permissions through your device settings at any time.
6. Data Security
- Secure Transmission: All communications with third-party services use HTTPS encryption.
- No Data Logging: Jayd does not log, store, or retain user coordinates or requests.
- Minimal Data Exchange: Only essential location coordinates are transmitted to external services.
- No Authentication Required: No sensitive credentials or authentication data are involved.
7. Children's Privacy
- Age Limitation: Jayd is not designed for or directed toward children under 13 years of age.
- COPPA Compliance: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
- Parental Notice: If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
